Synthetic rattan is resistant to UV, chlorine, salt water and suntan oils. Clean once or twice a year with a soft sponge or brush and mild neutral detergent, then rinse with water; a garden hose helps clear dust from the weave. Clean before storing for winter and again at the start of the season. Store cushions somewhere dry when not in use.
